1. What do you think of the layout of each page?
A: I found it straight forward and easy to read.
B: Yes, some of the colours were dull though, it wasn’t very bright.
C: It was readable but the colours could be nicer.
2. Can you detect a solid underlying theme throughout each page?
A: The use of the same font as the title is a good example, so yes.
B: Yeah, it could’ve been more exciting though.
C: Yeah, it was gritty looking, representing underground music throughout.
3. What do you think of the title of my publication?
A: It fit with the music, as when you shuffle you can’t predict what’s next, like the next trend in music.
B: It suited the magazine in a way.
C: Yes it fit but it could have been better.
4. What do you think of the fonts used throughout my magazine?
A: They fit with the theme throughout the magazine. (Underground/Indie).
B: They were easy to read and unique in their appearance.
C: I was impressed you made and used your own!
5. Could these have been more effectively used?
A: The layout was very simplistic and could’ve been more unique.
B: They fit their purpose and were easy to read.
C: You could’ve used your font more often.
6. Do you like the photographs I have used?
A: They looked like photos in a real magazine.
B: There could have been more interesting backgrounds like there was on the cover.
C: Yes, they look like real musicians.
7. How realistic does my publication appear to you?
A: Quite realistic but it wouldn’t fit in on a magazine shelf.
B: It looks good, but nothing close to a real magazine.
C: Good, not a real publication though.

A: Maybe, it might be too niche though.
B: Yes, there are many Indie artists with loyal fan bases to buy a magazine like this.
C: Yes!

A: People only usually buy a magazine if they know a little about the people on the front cover.
B: It contains relevant artists to their interests.
C: It has the music certain people want inside.

A: It’s a bit expensive.

A: Yes, it was funny and informative.
B: Yes, it was quirky and humourous.
C: I didn’t get the humour, but it was well written.
17. Were musicians featured within the magazine appropriate for the publication?
A: Yes, they appeared to be unsigned.
B: Yeah, they were independent.
C: Yeah, they weren’t mainstream or trying to be too trendy.
